Piper Expert TMJ Science and JBO Case Studies - 20 CE Credits This is an Upper Tier Course formerly known as Piper III- Advanced Considerations and Case Studies. This is the ultimate TMD expert's course. Unique topics include complex pain diagnosis and treatment. Skill sets in diagnostic and therapeutic nerve blocks are taught on patient volunteers. Students at this level are encouraged to present their own cases for development of patient communication skills. Piper Clinic cases demonstrating concepts of Joint Based Occlusion are used to develop expertise in occlusal management. |

Clinical Referral Patient Tutorial 2007-2008 (By Appointment) In this clinical experience the referring doctor and a single staff person of their choice attend a Piper Clinic consult with their patient. Doctors and staff accompany the patient through all phases of testing including history and exam, Doppler, JVA, CT and MR scanning, and final consultation visit. This unique experience provides invaluable insight into the patient's diagnosis, treatment options, and follow-up care. Concepts of Joint Based Occlusion are demonstrated directly to the patient and doctor. |
